About Bohcon

CEO Ingo Bohlken founded Bohcon GmbH Managementberatung und Venture in March 2015 in Erkrath. He gained most of his experience as a top manager at a DAX-listed corporation. Among his achievements are the acquisition, controlling and integration of a number of small and mid-sized companies, including many start-up companies from the online marketing sector.

We have made it our goal to provide our clients with ongoing support, to orient them consistently to the current and future requirements of their market environments and to optimally position them in negotiations with large companies.

Ingo Bohlken

Ingo Bohlken started his professional career at Bayer AG in Leverkusen. During and after his vocational training as an industrial management assistant and business administration assistant he worked in the polyurethane sales department. He then switched to field work at Bayer Hispania Comercial S.A. in Barcelona, where he stayed for a year and a half.

Studies in economics at the University of Cologne followed. After his graduation, Ingo Bohlken worked in leadership positions at Deutsche Post AG in Bonn for 17 years, lastly in various roles as a member of the Divisional Board MAIL.

As CMO, Ingo Bohlken executed brand campaigns and established long-term benchmark-setting sponsoring with partners such as the DTM and DFB. In addition, for several years he successfully directed product management for the company’s letter mail division.

During this time, he was not only in charge of the development and implementation of a liberalization strategy for the regulated postal market but also a future-oriented online marketing strategy.

As CEO of the DHL parcel service in Germany, he played a significant role in creating the basis for a successful business development in the age of e-commerce.

Ingo Bohlken was responsible for revenues ranging from 3 to 10 billion euros during this time, and he was in charge of a nine-digit budget. He was the supervisor of several hundred employees.
